I have always been intrigued about the how's and why's of life. Most know me as an inward thinker, an outward creator, and an adaptive collaborator.

Human interaction and the psychology of human nature has had a real impact within my life, I would even say that when I didn't know the depths of what human interaction was, subtly it was still the motive that pulled me towards the things I focused on. From what I have chose to study to careers I chose to venture into - I ultimately always find myself, no matter what path I am on, focusing on the how's and why's of human nature.

I feel most fulfilled when I am researching, defining and creating solutions to solve problems within the world and in people's lives. I have a diverse background that has given me the opportunity to work with people with various dynamics , in many different environments, gaining invaluable experiences that drives me, day in and day out, to define and sculpt myself into a life-shaking-world-changing designer and developer.

The Power of Adaptability...

has proven to be one of my greatest strengths. As a designer, or just in life in general, I have seen time and time again, those who overcome and succeed independently or as a team are those who are the most adaptive. I live and breathe design, being able to overcome with an open mindedness is critical. Being adaptive is something I put into play in the very beginning of my design process, my research, as well as, with any team collaboration that I'm a part of. I have even dissected and digested the process of how I adapt to overcome, collaborate and execute and you can read my in depth blog post about it here.

I LOVE What I Do...

there is nothing more breath-taking and tear-jerking than a great design that changes lives. That empowers those in circumstances that are beyond their own control. That may seem so simple or little now but 25 years from now you see that first design evolved into something that will impact and change lives and the world forever. I initially encountered the power of design and started recognizing its existence when I was a functional fitness coach for women. I found design as this tool I could use to help moms overcome their obstacles of motherhood. To me, at the time, I wasn't designing a physical product or thing, but just her day, her mindset - it was this thought that initiated my love for design. I loved seeing a mother who was depressed, living with low confidence and self-esteem, who has done nothing but devote herself to her kids, home and spouse light a fire in the world that will provide a light for so many others all while changing her life in the process. The way her face glows as she begins discovering her highest potentials. The way she passionately becomes involved in her children's lives instead of just going through the monotonous motions of motherhood. The way she now loves her spouse so boldly because she gave herself permission to love herself with unwavering, unshakeable love and passion. Once I discovered the power of what just the design of a thought process could do, how it changed not only her life but also her families and those within her reach - I became intrigued to discover other ways I could use design to change the lives and the world, which ultimately led me to discovering my passion and desire for UX Design and UX Research.

For What It's Worth...

I design and research to change lives. I believe if my efforts contribute to changing the lives of others all of the research, the late night thoughts, the hours and hours of  open minded collaboration amongst teams, every rough draft after every rough draft, every fail that leads to a win is worth it ... if it is changing lives. If it is making the lives of others more functional, if it is helping businesses empower more of the world... then all of this is worth it.

Quirks Make The World Go Round...

When I am not knee deep digesting all that I can about design, psychology, front end development and anything to do with personal development, I am usually knee deep in laundry, dishes and birthday wishes - as I am also a micromanaging mommanator of five children. I enjoy anything outdoors, people watching, Iced Caramel Macchiato's (with an extra shot of espresso). Outside of work and motherhood, I am usually doing something chill and laid back with my husband, laughing until we cry, watching shows, playing Ark on xbox, designing a website or coding. I am patient, outgoing, and a dreamer. I only have a few pet peeves, lying and wet door knobs.
